About JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced is the decisive entrance examination for admissions to bachelor’s, integrated master’s, and dual-degree programs across the 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). In accordance with the Joint Admission Board (JAB) rotational roster, IIT Delhi is the organising institute for JEE Advanced 2027.

Only the top 2,50,000 qualifiers from the JEE Main B.E./B.Tech merit list are eligible to register. The exam comprises two mandatory 3-hour computer-based papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) conducted on the same day.

The test paper features a dynamic structure that changes every year, incorporating single-correct MCQs, multi-correct MCQs with partial marking, numerical response questions, paragraph-based comprehensions, and matrix match lists.
